Job summary

Draper is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our on-site team in Clearfield, Utah. The role involves developing software for mission-oriented projects, spanning autonomous systems and fielded platforms, in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of software experience, a BS in CS or related field (MS preferred), and a willingness to obtain/maintain a government Secret clearance. Base US salary ranges from 82,300 to 220,000.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 5-10 years experience in Software Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute task assignments.
• Designs algorithms using modern theory and proven techniques, adheres to software best practices.
• Analyzes designs to demonstrate performance and functionality.
• Develops and executes software tests to check compliance with requirements.
• Mentors less experienced staff and leads a small team of software developers.

Education
