Job summary

Job Juncture client is seeking a full-time Senior Embedded Software Engineer reporting to the Director of Software Engineering on the Software Engineering team. The successful candidate will work on radios and advanced research projects, with hands-on experience across drivers, networking, encryption, and security features in a hybrid schedule (at least 3 days onsite).

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday are on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Implement MAC layer software and mobile ad-hoc routing protocols.
• Develop network management software and web interfaces.
• Implement security protocols and encryption algorithms.
• Develop audio streaming and push-to-talk applications.
• Analyze and improve product security to meet NIST FIPS 140-3 and NIAP.
• Develop device drivers and BSP for ARM and RISC-V.
