Job summary
LHP Engineering Solutions in Goleta, CA, seeks a senior embedded software engineer to design and develop firmware for infrared and sensing systems. You will participate in requirements review, software design and coding, unit testing, system integration, and sustaining engineering in a hybrid work environment.
This role collaborates with cross-functional teams and requires deep experience with C, RTOS, and multi-core processing.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of embedded programming and board-level software development in C.
- Experience with embedded RTOS and multi-threaded software development.
- Expertise in developing multi-core embedded software.
- Experience in developing on embedded SoCs.
- Experience with multi-core imaging and vision processing platforms (NVIDIA/Qualcomm).
- Ability to understand hardware and software components of embedded systems.
- Excellent knowledge of I2C, SPI, USB buses.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Experience designing low-latency protocols between peripherals and devices.
- Experience with infrared technologies and AI tools is valuable.
