Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software that complies with industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards. You will translate customer requirements into initial software designs and develop interface definitions for robust systems.

The role involves unit and integration testing, peer reviews, and supporting system integration and documentation. A Bachelor's Degree and security clearance process are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Active Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret & Special Program Access
• 3+ years of experience in C++ and C#
• 3+ years of experience with Linux development
• 3+ years of experience in git or similar version control system
• 3+ years of experience in software architecture development and open architectures
• 3+ years with network architectures and software applications that communicate through TCP/UDP based networks

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
• Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products.
• Develops interface definitions.
• Performs unit and integration testing.
• Participates in peer reviews.
• Supports software system integration and test.
• Creates software documentation.
