Industrious Ventures is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in Berthoud, Colorado. In this role, you will design and maintain software for our advanced propulsion and defense systems. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, over four years of embedded C/C++ experience, and is proficient in hardware programming and debugging. We offer a competitive salary between $125,000 and $155,000, unlimited PTO, health insurance, and retirement savings options. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in embedded C/C++ development.
• Hands-on experience with hardware interface programming.
• Proficiency reading schematics and debugging with hardware tools.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for avionics.
• Develop and maintain ground support software tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define and deliver new software features.
• Document designs, code, and procedures.
• Debug and optimize software and hardware integration efforts.
