Job summary

Kratos Antenna Solutions in Plano, TX, seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to design applications, write code, and test embedded software for ARM-based devices. You will work under the Software Manager in a hybrid environment, contributing to both new and existing solutions.

The role requires 5–7 years of professional embedded software experience, strong C/C++, RTOS knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team. Some travel for field support is possible.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering required.
• 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
• US person required; ability to obtain clearance may be needed.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to plan technical projects and meet milestones.

Responsibilities

• Design applications and write code for embedded software.
• Develop and execute test and debugging routines; document results.
• Collaborate within a project team to deliver new and existing software solutions.
• Possibly travel for limited field installation and support.
