Job summary

Tietoevry Corp. is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in RTOS/bare-metal environments. The role requires strong C and working knowledge of C++, plus exposure to Zephyr/FreeRTOS/ThreadX and embedded Linux user-space development.

You will work with MCUs, peripherals, IP networking, and debugging using JTAG, GDB, and oscilloscopes. Python scripting and CI/CD workflows are part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in embedded software development
• Hands-on with Zephyr, FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or similar RTOS
• Experience with MCU peripherals, datasheets, linker scripts, startup code
• Familiarity with Embedded Linux user-space development

Job description

Skills Required:

Connectivity: Knowledge of IP networking and interfaces including UART, SPI, I2C, USB, and CAN.

Tools: Python scripting/automation and familiarity with CI/CD workflows.

Debugging: Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, and GDB for complex debugging.
