Job summary

singularityus, a stealth-mode Aerospace & Defense startup in Gardena, CA, seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement software for embedded aerospace systems. You will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of critical software for rapid deployment on a novel platform.

Key responsibilities include fault detection, guidance, navigation, and flight control software, real-time optimization, and integration across module, SIL, and HIL levels, plus contributions

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded systems design experience.
• Proficiency in embedded C/C++.
• Experience with I2C, CAN, SPI, UART.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement embedded software for fault detection, guidance, navigation, and flight control.
• Optimize software for real-time performance.
• Integrate and test algorithms and software at module, software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and system level testing.
• Create software designs to satisfy requirements.
• Manage configurations on embedded devices, specifying how hardware interfaces with software.
• Drive complete software integrations from inception to completion.
• Contribute to software system architecture and design for a greenfield project.
• Contribute to computer vision software.
