Bascom Hunter is building advanced aerospace and defense hardware, including high-performance Environmental Control Systems (ECS), power systems and air-moving machinery for demanding Aerospace and Defense platforms.
We’re looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to contribute technically with a growing team of embedded software engineers in the development of mission-critical software for aerospace applications. This role is approximately 70% hands‑on development and 30% laboratory testing, requiring both deep technical expertise and the ability to mentor team members, initiate testing, and contribute alongside a high-performing team.
Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Git, Static and Dynamic code analysis tools (LDRA or similar), PLM/PDM systems, ERP/MRP (Deltek Costpoint or similar), MS Office/Teams/SharePoint.
Office and laboratory environment with test facility exposure; ability to occasionally lift up to ~25 lbs; travel ~5–10% for customer meetings or test support.
