This individual independently plans, performs and completes a moderately-defined responsibility for the design, driver development, integration, testing, debugging, and validation of real‑time embedded software, embedded RTOS, microcontroller firmware, and communication protocols for wireless chipsets that support 3G, 4G, 5G, AI and other current and future technologies. The role includes on‑target development, identification and implementation of tools and processes to improve the software development lifecycle, and providing support on customer issues to Software Application Engineers. Documentation of intellectual property, technical specifications, and requirements is also required. The candidate will act as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.
Will accept a Master’s Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Will also accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
