Job summary
0891 DS - Advanced Weapons - Northridge is seeking a Sr. Staff Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop software solutions in a full-time, on-site role in Northridge, CA. Applicants must hold a U.S. Government Secret clearance and have extensive experience in software development and system architecture.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems, participating in every phase of the software development lifecycle.
The salary range for this position is $192,800.00 – $289,200.00 with comprehensive benefits including health, life insurance, and paid time off.
Qualifications
- 14+ years of experience in development roles, or relevant advanced degrees with experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in C++ and fluency in another language (Java, Python, C#).
- Proficient in full-cycle software development including integration and debugging.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust embedded software solutions from system requirements.
- Lead design and debugging of system-level software for real-time platforms.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
