Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Software Verification & Validation leader to design and implement automated testing frameworks for medical devices, focusing on embedded software and cloud-connected solutions. You will guide regulatory compliance, collaborate with offshore teams, and drive testability and quality from concept to release.

You will spearhead V&V, manage test assets across software, GUI, and hardware, and lead continuous improvement in testing processes under FDA ISO 13485 and IEC 62304

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent.
• 9+ years in architecting, designing, developing, debugging, reviewing and testing embedded software.

Responsibilities

• Lead verification and validation activities for medical device software.
• Oversee test planning, execution, and defect management.
