Job summary

RTX, the world’s leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Software Security Engineer for our Tucson, AZ campus. This role focuses on developing world-class security software for deployed missile systems, applying rigorous system security principles, and delivering robust, real-time software solutions.

You will work closely with Systems Security Engineering to define requirements and verify system maturity, interfacing with customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant software experience.
• Experience with C / C++ in real-time systems for embedded missile software.
• Experience with Xilinx MPSoC or similar embedded processors; knowledge of VxWorks or Embedded Linux.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time missile software with C/C++ on multiple computing platforms.
• Apply System Security principles to missile software design and implementation.
• Work with Systems Security Engineering to define and implement requirements.
• Interface with customers to review technical design and support verification of system maturity.
