Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering and security-critical embedded systems.
• Expertise in embedded systems security, threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure SDLC.
• Strong communication skills to present security concepts to executives and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with AI/ML model security is a plus.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with vulnerability management at device level.
• Knowledge of cryptography, PKI, and secure boot.
• Familiarity with TPMs/HSMs and hardware security testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate security into the product lifecycle.
• Conduct Threat Modeling and Risk Assessments early in development.
• Perform rigorous security testing and code reviews.
• Lead automation of security processes across DevOps environments.
• Educate and mentor teams to cultivate a security-first culture.
• Stay updated on threats and implement improvements.
• Contribute to incident response and root cause analysis.
• Perform penetration testing, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research on firmware and devices.
• Manage SBOM, CVE triage, and coordinated vulnerability disclosure.
• Define secure-by-design requirements aligned to IoT/embedded security standards.
