Job summary

Bose Corporation in Framingham, MA is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to advance the secure development of Bose's Audio Technology platforms. You will design and implement protections for IP, cryptographic identity, and secure boot across embedded firmware.

You will collaborate across hardware, software, and cloud teams, drive security assessments, and mentor engineers on secure coding and threat modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. MSc beneficial.
• Experience delivering licensed software in embedded products with security focus.
• Hands-on security engineering in firmware, cryptography, and secure update processes.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement protections for IP, including anti-tamper and secure updates.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, DevOps, and cloud teams to embed security across lifecycle.
• Design secure boot, encryption, signing, and root-of-trust for embedded firmware.
• Lead security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability responses.
• Provide architectural guidance and code reviews to engineering peers.
