Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle seeks a Senior Embedded Software Verification & Test Engineer to verify RF components for lunar systems. You will define verification strategies across flight software, embedded systems, and RF hardware, and lead test activities from development to flight support.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, automating tests, performing hardware-in-the-loop validation, and driving anomaly investigations with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable spaceflight

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a related technical field and 8+ years in embedded software verification or test.
• Strong C/C++ development and debugging skills with hardware experience.
• Proficient in Python for test automation and data analysis.
• Experience with test requirements traceability and DO-178C-like contexts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain verification strategies, test plans, and requirements traceability.
• Derive test requirements from specifications and safety requirements.
• Lead software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing activities.
• Create automated test frameworks, scripts, and data-analysis tools.
• Investigate anomalies across software, FPGA, and RF hardware; drive corrective actions.
• Participate in reviews for requirements, design, and test readiness.
