LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the full software lifecycle from concept to deprecation. You will work on embedded real-time systems, TCP/IP networking, and co-design with hardware teams.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior engineers and delivering robust, scalable software architectures. The candidate should have 10+ years of experience and strong C/C++ expertise, Linux knowledge, and experience with Yocto/Buildroot, MySQL, and scripting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full software lifecycle experience from concept to end-of-life.
• Strong C/C++ programming expertise and embedded RTOS exposure.
• Experience with Linux, drivers, memory, processes, and embedded Linux builds.
• Familiarity with MySQL and web interfaces (PHP/JavaScript).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software development projects and specifications.
• Define software architectures for complex requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews.
• Develop and test embedded real-time software across platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware teams for co-design and integration.
• Maintain product lifecycle and contribute to QA/QC processes.
• Support customers and end-users with technical guidance.
