Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Mayfield Heights, OH is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and test embedded software for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). You will contribute to requirements, architecture and verification, working across hardware and software with emphasis on real-time systems.

Join an agile team, mentor peers, and advance CI/CD, test automation and tooling. Proficiency in C++ and Python is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Design, and develop embedded software for Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Build and maintain automated tests for new and existing features.
• Work across hardware and software environments including RTOS.
• Use modern CI/CD tools and promote tooling improvements.
• Mentor less experienced developers and share knowledge within the team.
