Job summary

WEX is seeking a Sr. Product Manager with strong technical fluency and payments expertise to own the embedded payments product roadmap. You will collaborate across engineering on APIs and infrastructure while delivering customer-driven solutions and guiding end-to-end product delivery.

You will lead 1-2 Scrum teams, leverage qualitative and quantitative data to measure success, and work with cross-functional partners to create a cohesive end-to-end experience for embedded payments customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management with payments/embedded finance focus
• Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree is a plus
• Deep understanding of how features connect to product vision
• Experience building payments products including APIs and developer surfaces
• Knowledge of payments infrastructure and regulatory considerations

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, discovery, and end-to-end delivery for embedded payments product or core platform
• Build deep understanding of customers, partners, market dynamics, and competitive offerings
• Lead customer-centric discovery and translate insights into actionable requirements with engineering
• Partner with engineering on payment APIs, platform capabilities, and architecture trade-offs
• Lead product delivery with 1-2 Scrum teams and deliver value iteratively
• Use data to assess performance, define success measures, and drive prioritization
• Collaborate across product, engineering, analytics, UX, and business partners
• Identify opportunities to modernize payment infrastructure and enable broader use cases
• Apply AI thoughtfully to improve productivity while ensuring compliance
• Maintain a risk-aware mindset with due diligence and data protection
