TP-Link Systems Inc. seeks an experienced Embedded Engineering Manager, Networking to lead the creation and optimization of next-generation residential gateway.

You will mentor a team of engineers and drive the software lifecycle from concept to delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams and staying ahead of industry trends. You will oversee architecture, performance, security, and integration of software with hardware, while ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery and alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture, network protocols, and related algorithms.
• Proficiency in embedded software programming using C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of next-generation gateway, set goals and timelines, ensuring best practices.
• Direct development and integration of industry frameworks and features.
• Architect and improve software platforms focusing on performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for hardware-software integration.
• Drive innovation by adopting new technologies and trends.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to meet delivery targets.
• Own and lead full lifecycle delivery of consumer networking projects.
• Handle multiple projects in parallel with efficient execution.
• Guide strategic direction with senior leadership to align with business goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide growth feedback to team members.
• Lead the Consumer Networks Project team for productivity and morale.
