Job summary

HP is seeking an experienced embedded networking engineer to design, develop, and optimize networking capabilities in firmware for Poly Video hardware. You will identify issues, document designs, and stay current with industry trends in embedded systems.

You will collaborate across firmware and software teams, mentor junior engineers, and work with hardware teams to ensure proper integration of networking components and protocols.

Qualifications

• Four‑year or graduate degree in CS/EE or related field.
• 7–10 years of work experience in firmware/networking roles.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++, embedded systems, and TCP/IP.
• Experience with Linux/Android networking development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize networking in embedded software/firmware for Poly Video hardware.
• Lead reviews to ensure adherence to design guidelines and quality standards.
