Job summary

Boeing is seeking Experienced Missions Systems Software Engineers – Embedded to join the Mission Systems Software team in Berkeley, CA. You will design, develop, test, and maintain embedded flight software across lifecycle phases in an agile, CI/CD environment.

Candidates should have 5+ years of related experience, strong C/C++/Python, and experience with RTOS and embedded architectures. U.S. security clearance is required post-start, with relocation support as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Ability to acquire a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (Post-Start).
• 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent.
• 3+ years in full life-cycle software development, modeling, simulation, testing, and/or analysis (C, C++, C#, Python, Java, Ada, Linux).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for devices and systems.
• Translate customer requirements into embedded software designs.
• Write code for embedded software to run on specialized hardware.
• Integrate software with hardware components.
