Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer / Platform SW Execution Lead to drive SoC and platform bring-up for edge AI products. You will own the execution plan from concept through high‑volume deployment, coordinating with hardware, silicon, validation, and factory teams.

You should have 12+ years in embedded software, solid C/C++, Linux kernel experience, and strong program management skills. This role combines hands-on engineering with leadership to accelerate edge AI platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience in embedded or edge systems.
• Experience leading SoC or platform bring-up across multiple hardware revisions.
• Strong Linux kernel, driver, BSP, and boot sequence expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead SoC and platform bring-up from prototype to production with execution plan.
• Define and drive end-to-end platform Linux software roadmap for edge devices.
• Develop and debug low-level Linux system software (bootloaders, kernel, drivers).
• Serve as technical program owner for platform SW bring-up with risk tracking.
• Collaborate with hardware, silicon, validation, and factory teams to resolve issues.
• Develop factory test and provisioning software and tooling for high-volume deployment.
• Analyze lab, factory, and field data to improve stability and test strategy.
• Mentor junior engineers and scale the Linux for Edge team's capabilities.
