Job summary

AGCO seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to contribute to embedded Linux applications across connectivity ECUs and cloud interfaces, shaping the software lifecycle from requirements to validation.

You will lead development activities in a global agile team, mentor peers, and drive CI, build systems, and quality improvements while collaborating with product management, systems engineering, and customers.

Qualifications

• Total 10 years of experience with minimum 6 years of development experience in the below domains.
• 2 years experience leading projects and mentoring a small team.
• Strong experience with Linux operating system.
• Strong experience with Linux build environments (Buildroot, Yocto).
• Strong experience with Continuous Integration (e.g. Cloudbees Jenkins, Artifactory, Conan).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead development activities.
• Develop and maintain embedded Linux applications and build systems for connectivity ECUs.
• Patch packages where issues are detected.
• Maintain CI and automation of SW build processes; work in a global agile team.
• Improve software quality with static analysis, security scans, tests.
