Job summary

Elma Electronic, a global embedded computing leader in Horsham, PA, seeks a Senior Engineer, Integration & Test to drive system integration, troubleshooting, and qualification of advanced embedded products. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in embedded system integration, test, or qualification testing.
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring teams.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with embedded architectures and interfaces such as VPX, VME, PCIe, Ethernet, SATA, RS-232/422/485, I2C/IPMB, JTAG, FPGA-based systems.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation tools (Python, PowerShell, Bash, LabVIEW, Perl, Ruby).
• Ability to document clearly and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Integration & Test activities, prioritizing and coordinating tasks.
• Integrate, configure, troubleshoot, and test embedded systems and subsystems.
• Install, configure, and validate OS, firmware, drivers, networking, test software.
• Execute functional, verification, validation, qualification, and environmental tests.
• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, reports, and qualification docs.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and design reviews.
• Qualify new embedded products including SBCs, switches, storage, and I/O.
• Develop and maintain automation tools and regression testing capabilities.
• Mentor Integration & Test personnel and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
