Job summary

Tektronix, an operating company of Ralliant, is seeking a Staff Hardware Engineer to design and implement embedded hardware platforms that run Linux or Windows on host processors such as Intel and ARM-based SoCs with FPGA fabric.

You will create schematics, select components, and maintain documentation while supporting layout reviews, power integrity, and manufacturing readiness. Mentorship and process improvements are expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with host processors running Linux or Windows.
• Knowledge of Intel/ARM-based platforms and FPGA fabric is a plus.
• Strong hardware debugging and PCB design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify embedded hardware platforms with host processors.
• Create and maintain hardware designs, schematics, and documentation.
• Support layout activities and perform design reviews for manufacturability.
• Use SI/PI analysis to reduce project risk and improve quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and test teams.
