You will collaborate with hardware and systems teams to optimize performance, memory usage and power, implement in C/C++ on ARM, and help advance next‑generation location solutions across Qualcomm’s mobile devices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of software engineering experience.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of software engineering experience.
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, review, and maintain real-time embedded software in C and assembly language.
- Develop software within a multi-threaded architecture with IPC and multiple interfaces.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to verify features and debug hardware-related issues.
- Collaborate with systems teams on algorithms, DSP, and implementation.
- Work with test teams to diagnose and resolve system-level issues.
- Contribute to software architecture, design discussions and development methodology.
- Optimize software for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency.
