Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer focused on Actuation & Control Systems. You will develop embedded firmware for rocket engine valves, thrust vector actuators, and reaction wheels, collaborating with propulsion, avionics, and GNC teams to ensure fault-tolerant operation in harsh space environments.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded C/C++ for electromechanical controls, strong hardware debugging skills, and experience with CAN, SPI, UART.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
