Ceribell is seeking a highly technical Senior or Staff Firmware Engineer / Embedded Engineer to advance life-saving EEG technology. You will own embedded software from development through testing, collaborating with cross-functional R&D teams.

Role focuses on Linux-based systems, Yocto distributions, device trees, and performance optimizations on Ceribell’s Neuro EEG platform. Eligible for equity, health benefits, and a strong compensation package.

Competenze

• 6–10+ years of Embedded Linux development experience
• Deep Yocto layer mastery and bitbake usage
• Experience with sensors, IoT communications, and standard buses (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet)

Mansioni

• Architect, build, and maintain production Yocto/OpenEmbedded distributions for the target hardware
• Design and implement C/C++ system applications and Python services on Linux
• Configure board support packages and device trees; integrate drivers and peripherals
• Drive kernel tuning, boot-time optimization, and hardware-accelerated processing
• Collaborate with Systems, Hardware, Quality, and Product Management to deliver reliable software
