Cubiscan is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Ogden, UT, to design and optimize firmware for NXP microcontrollers, including RT1064 and i.MX series. The role covers low-level drivers, Ethernet/I2C/SPI/USB interfaces, and embedded Linux environments, with a focus on data processing and sensor integration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of embedded hardware experience, strong C/C++ skills, and is excited to work on legacy and next-generation Cubiscan systems.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS or CE and 5+ years of embedded hardware programming.
• Experience designing low-level firmware for microcontrollers/processors.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills with RTOS/Linux experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize firmware for NXP microcontrollers (RT1064, i.MX8/9, LPC series).
• Develop low-level drivers and application code (IAR, VS Code, GitHub).
• Implement hardware interfaces (Ethernet, I2C, SPI, USB) and manage embedded filesystems.
