Job summary

Cubiscan is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to work on legacy Cubiscan systems and next-generation designs. You will design and program low-level firmware for NXP MCUs including RT1064, i.MX8, i.MX9, and LPC series, with RTOS and Linux environments, and contribute to sensor integration and data processing.

The role requires strong math skills, proficiency in C/C++, and a collaborative, self-motivated attitude.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of embedded hardware programming experience.
• Experience with NXP microcontrollers and RTOS.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize firmware for NXP MCUs (RT1064, i.MX8/9).
• Develop low-level drivers and application code.
• Implement Ethernet, I2C, SPI, USB interfaces.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams.
• Travel as needed and support after-hours.
