Tech3pillars Technologies is seeking an experienced C Embedded Firmware Senior Developer in Atlanta, GA. You will design, develop, and debug firmware for microcontroller-based systems, collaborating with hardware and application teams to deliver reliable medical device solutions.

The role emphasizes embedded C/C++, embedded Linux (Yocto), and hardware interfacing, with responsibilities spanning boot flows, device communication, and firmware upgrades.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ programming.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux (Yocto).
• Experience with hardware interfacing and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, SMBus).
• Strong understanding of real-time embedded systems and RTOS concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems (bare-metal/RTOS).
• Implement hardware control for sensors, motors, valves, ADC/DAC, PWM, and other peripherals.
• Develop and maintain embedded Linux (Yocto) system integration, boot flow, and device communication.
• Integrate firmware with hardware and higher-level applications (.NET).
• Debug and troubleshoot firmware, Linux and hardware integration issues.
• Develop firmware architecture, bootloaders, and firmware upgrade mechanisms.
• Work with communication protocols including UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, and SMBus.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support system integration, validation, and end-to-end testing.
• Ensure firmware quality, reliability, and compliance with medical device development standards where applicable.
