Job summary

Columbus McKinnon is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to collaborate with New Product Development teams on industrial automation controls and wireless products.

You will design, implement, and test embedded software using C/C++ on ARM-based platforms, adhering to controlled workflows and participating in code reviews. Travel up to 10% to CMCO locations and customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; M.S. preferred.
• Embedded C/C++ development experience.
• ARM processors with RTOS and bare-metal implementations.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture and designs to meet product requirements.
• Design and develop embedded software using C, C++.
• Conduct unit, integration, and system tests.
• Use JIRA and version control with code reviews.
