Job summary
ESPRiT Engineering GmbH in Germany seeks a Senior Cyber Security Engineer for Embedded Systems to analyze, design and secure embedded functions for mobility of the future.
You will work across engineering and management levels to mitigate cyber risks, apply ISO 21434 insights, and support validation and deployment of secure components.
Excellent German and English, plus a passion for new technologies, are essential; automotive experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or diploma in a relevant field (EE, CS, IT security).
- Advanced knowledge of cyber security.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 21434 and R155/R156 regulations.
- Experience in embedded systems development.
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and continuous learning.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus.
- Good written and spoken German and English.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate development of embedded system functions with focus on cybersecurity.
- Collaborate with departments to evaluate function and component development.
- Conduct analyses of risks from external attacks.
- Visualize insights and communicate findings to technical and management levels.
- Develop strategies and requirements for secure function/component development.
- Coordinate validation and approval processes for cybersecurity.
