Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Software Engineer to join the Thunderbolt Platform CoE in Phoenix, AZ, on a hybrid schedule. Lead development efforts for Thunderbolt platform software across multiple applications and collaborate with global teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.

The role emphasizes architecture, design, and best practices with embedd ed components and DO-178C Level A certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
Minimum 6 years of experience leading software development projects.
Experience with programming languages C, C++ or assembly.
Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
Lead complex feature development from customer requirements to deployment.
Embedded Software Development Knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead the software development and delivery of Thunderbolt platform software for multiple applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions in accordance with project specifications.
Drive continuous improvement in software engineering processes.
