Job summary

Intuitive, a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery, seeks a Senior Embedded Configuration Release Engineer to manage and optimize the embedded build environment for the DaVinci platform. You will drive automation, scale build pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, reliable software delivery.

The role requires deep experience in Bazel, CMake, and CI/CD tooling across Linux and Windows, with strong scripting and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years embedded build infrastructure experience.
Bazel/cmake build setup for new hardware.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab CI).
Experience with Linux and Windows OS infrastructures.

Responsibilities

Focusing on infrastructure automation and execution of infrastructure as code methodologies across build tool pipelines.
Day-to-day administration of build systems, machines, and tools.
Monitor and resolve issues for emake builds and long build times.
Setup Windows and Linux machines for emake builds including new hires or replacements.
Onboard engineers using physical and virtual infrastructure.
Setup Bazel/cmake builds for new hardware and software.
Provide on-call support for critical applications.
