Wistia is seeking a Senior Email Marketing Manager to lead our email marketing strategy and program. You will craft impactful email campaigns to nurture leads, engage customers, and drive business results. Our email communications target both existing users (free and paid) and new leads, helping onboard users, share product updates, and provide resources for video marketing.

You will ensure our email program delivers the right message at the right time by collaborating with marketing, ops, and Product Growth teams to develop segmentation strategies and optimize workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Email Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive email strategy supporting customer acquisition and retention.
  2. Personalization & Segmentation: Use customer data to create targeted, personalized email campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
  3. Automation & Workflow Optimization: Build and manage automated workflows guiding prospects and customers through their journey.
  4. Collaboration: Work with marketing ops, content, customer marketing, brand, acquisition, and product growth teams to align messaging and impact.
  5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key email metrics and tie email performance to product usage and funnel metrics for continuous improvement.
  6. Platform & Process Management: Collaborate with teams to ensure a seamless user experience across email platforms like HubSpot, Postmark, and Outreach.io.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or tech environments.
  • Deep experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Strong analytical skills—love diving into data, measuring impact, and refining strategies.
  • Excellent storytelling and messaging skills to craft engaging emails.
  • Detail-oriented project management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
