Job summary

Lantern is seeking an experienced Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to join our Analytics Engineering team in a hybrid role based in Dallas. You will build and maintain robust ELT pipelines, design scalable data models, and optimize analytic performance across the Lantern Analytic Platform.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL skills, and hands-on Databricks experience, plus familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, and dbt.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, Data Warehouse Engineer, or similar.
• 5+ years of production-grade experience with Python and SQL.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, Workflows).
• Hands-on experience building ELT/ETL pipelines with Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, or dbt.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with query and pipeline performance tuning.
• Experience supporting analytics and reporting consumers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, and dbt.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT workflows with reliable data delivery.
• Collaborate with data analysts to translate business needs into efficient data models and documentation.
• Optimize Lantern Analytic Platform performance through partitioning and model refinement.
