Job summary

Invision AI, a Toronto-based company building a universal AI platform for computer vision, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer. You will work on machine learning, image processing, and real-time video projects, developing scalable cloud and edge infrastructure, web apps and APIs.

You will design both client-side and server-side architectures, prototype new features with cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to documentation while collaborating with an international team to expand to new

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying web applications.
• Strong experience with Elixir and Phoenix LiveView.
• Experience with Django or Ruby on Rails and relational databases.
• Familiar with Docker, Linux and web servers (Nginx/Apache).
• Experience with Kubernetes deployment or similar distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud or equivalent.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering practices including TDD and CI.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership in the design and development of cloud and edge infrastructure, web apps and APIs.
• Design and implement client-side and server-side architecture.
• Recommend, implement, and manage the supporting infrastructure for our different lines of products.
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
• Prototype new features and innovative solutions using cutting edge technologies.
• Write technical documentation.
