Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville, SC is seeking an experienced registered nurse to support electrophysiology procedures in an acute inpatient setting. You will assist physicians, scrub, monitor, and assist with stimulations, while maintaining patient/family centered care.

You will monitor ECGs, manage intracardiac/intravascular pressures, ensure sterile technique, prepare procedure rooms, and uphold infection control and radiation safety standards. On-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing
• Two (2) years of Cardiac Telemetry experience and two (2) years of EP lab experience
• Holds a current RN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or SC license
• BLS
• ACLS
• RCIS preferred
• RCES preferred
• Knowledge of arrhythmias and mapping techniques
• Computer and data entry skills

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient’s ECG and reports rhythm disturbances to physician.
• Monitors intracardiac and intravascular pressures.
• Scrub duties and sterile technique.
• Circulating duties and room setup per infection control guidelines.
• Radiation safety and EP equipment setup.
• Provides care using nursing process and plans of care.
• Maintains professional licensure and ongoing competency.
