Job summary

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is seeking an experienced Senior Electrophysiology Technologist (SEPT) to perform advanced procedures under physician direction, including fluoroscopy and digital image capture for accurate diagnosis and optimal treatment of heart arrhythmias.

You will work under the supervision of the Cardiovascular Services Supervisor and Department Manager, contributing to a culture of patient-focused care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology or radiographic technology.
• Certification from CCI or ARRT required; MT Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• BLS and ACLS certifications upon hire.
• 4 years electrophysiology technologist experience with competencies for SEPT.
• National Provider BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrophysiology procedures under physician direction.
• Utilize fluoroscopy and digital image capture to diagnose or treat heart arrhythmias.
• Ensure maximum patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Work under the leadership of the Department Manager and Cardiovascular Services Supervisor.

Job description

Under the leadership of the Department Manager and the supervision of the Cardiovascular Services Supervisor, the Senior Electrophysiology Technologist (SEPT) will, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified physician, perform advanced procedures on patients, including fluoroscopy and digital image capture, resulting in the accurate diagnosis and or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart arrhythmias while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular: RCIS, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, RCES, Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist, or radiographic technology.
