Job summary

The Boeing Company Integrated Advanced Systems (IAS) team in Phantom Works seeks a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to develop a Software Defined Radio (SDR) and lead embedded software efforts at our Berkeley, Missouri site. The role covers architecture integration, testing, and lifecycle support for mission systems across platforms.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering with 9+ years (or 7+ with an MS, 3+ with a PhD), and experience in C/C++, Python, Linux; travel up to 10% may be

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience with a Bachelor's in Engineering.
• Experience with C/C++, Python, or C#.
• Experience with Kubernetes or containerization technologies.
• Experience with embedded systems, RF hardware/subsystems, and EW/radar.

Responsibilities

• Develops and validates requirements for complex communication, sensor, EW and electromagnetic systems.
• Develops electromagnetic requirements for electrical/electronic, mechanical systems and interconnects.
• Designs architectures to integrate systems and components into higher level platforms.
• Performs trade studies, modeling, simulation and analyses to optimize designs.
• Defines and conducts critical tests to validate performance against requirements.
• Supports lifecycle from manufacturing to customer use and guides issue resolution.
