Job summary

BSU Inc. is a dynamic, fast-growing Electronic Manufacturing and Design company seeking an experienced electronics technician.

The role involves testing, troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies to component level using meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies, and functionally testing mechanical assemblies for quality conformance. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of detailed troubleshooting, an Associate Degree in Electronics (or equivalent experience), and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuits.
• Ability to read schematics and follow procedures.
• Experience with SMT and through-hole board assemblies.
• Proficient with test/measurement equipment (DMMs, scopes, power supplies).
• Proficient with hand tools for board assembly and repair.

Responsibilities

• Board assembly programming and functional test execution.
• Troubleshoot and repair failed boards; document data.
• Verify board and subassembly test fixtures.
• Operate Flying Probe and AOI test instruments.
• Recommend fixture improvements to improve yield.
• Identify negative yield trends and communicate corrective actions.
• Follow material control and disposition policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
