Job summary

Zohorecruit in Fridley, Minnesota is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to join a high-performing team in a global power technology organization. The role is hands-on and laboratory-focused, supporting prototype preparation, circuit-level testing, environmental testing, and product validation.

You will assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronics, perform SMT soldering, read schematics, and work with oscilloscopes and lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electronics laboratory or hardware testing experience.
• Strong surface-mount PCB rework and soldering capabilities.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics independently.
• Familiarity with environmental testing and EMI/EMC is beneficial.
• Detail-oriented with good documentation discipline and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic components, PCB assemblies, and related systems.
• Perform surface-mount soldering and component rework, including fine-pitch electronics.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and test documentation.
• Conduct hardware testing using oscilloscopes, power supplies, AC/DC sources and loads, signal generators, data acquisition systems, and other laboratory instrumentation.
• Prepare prototypes and test samples by installing probes, fabricating wire harnesses, and building test fixtures.
• Conduct thermal and environmental testing using environmental chambers.
• Support EMI/EMC testing and established electrical test methodologies.
• Collect and analyze test results, document findings, and support technical recommendations.
• Partner with engineers during product development, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, test documentation, equipment logs, and calibration verification.
