Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to support our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, testing, and repairs of electronic security equipment for federal, local, and commercial customers.

You will survey sites, configure hardware and software, assist with commissioning, and communicate effectively with project teams and clients. A driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 25% are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years electronics installation and/or maintenance.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Proven experience with multidisciplinary teams.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and IT systems.
• Conduct site surveys and configure hardware/software.
• Provide customer support and communicate effectively with teams.
• Lead commissioning activities and participate in project meetings.
• Maintain safety, documentation, and quality control.
