Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join Amherst Systems in Buffalo, NY. You will test RF drawers, digital cards, and microelectronics, isolating faults and repairing system issues while following engineering instructions.

Responsibilities include RF tuning under a microscope, assembling components, and maintaining calibration of test equipment. U.S. citizenship is required; 9/80 schedule and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience; or an associate’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience; or 2 years of U.S. military electronic schooling plus 2 years.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting RF and digital equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot RF products, digital circuit cards, and microelectronics per specifications.
• Diagnose malfunctions using schematics and drawings.
• Perform RM tuning under a microscope and make adjustments as required.
• Maintain test equipment calibration and document actions accurately.
• Assemble components and assist other team members as needed.
