Job summary

Qualifications

• Soldering and desoldering of through-hole, SMT, wire harness, and microprocessor components.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electronic/electromechanical devices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong lab organization and cleanliness.
• Professional communication in verbal and written form.
• Define and enforce lab procedures and work orders.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Train junior technicians in soldering techniques.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced soldering and desoldering on multiple component types.
• Troubleshoot embedded electronic systems and diagnose issues.
• Support and coordinate work of interns while managing priorities.
• Design, assemble, and test electrical components for prototypes and test systems.
• Assist engineers with developing and implementing new designs.
• Research, source, and order parts; maintain inventory.
• Test electronic units using standard equipment and analyze results.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab.
• Perform additional shop and technical support duties as assigned.
