Job summary

SAIC is seeking a dedicated Electronics Technician at NSWC Crane, IN to join our team. You will perform hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electronic systems.

Proficiency with test equipment and the ability to interpret IPC standards are required. The role demands meticulous attention to procedures, accuracy in documentation, and capability to obtain the necessary security clearance.

Qualifications

• HS Graduate or equivalent.
• Troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level.
• Read and interpret circuit schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering stations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows.
• Must be able to obtain/hold a secret clearance; interim clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex electronic systems and components in accordance with IPC standards.
• Interpret complex circuit schematics and wiring diagrams to complete tasks.
• Diagnose faults at the component level and repair efficiently.
• Set up and operate lab equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering stations) for testing and validation.
• Maintain SOPs, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Document test results using Microsoft Office on Windows.
