Job summary

Moog Military Aircraft LLC in Torrance, CA invites a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer to lead flight-control electronics development. You will guide concept-to-deployment, capture requirements, perform analyses, and present results to customers. Cross‑functional teamwork and frequent customer interaction are essential.

5–10% travel may be required. Required: BS in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years in design and development, 4+ years in electromechanical systems, and MIL‑STD verification

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of design & development engineering experience.
• 4+ years designing/analyzing electromechanical systems.
• Experience with MIL-STD-461, 704, 810, and DO-254 verification standards.
• Experience with Acceptance Test and Highly Accelerated Life Tests.

Responsibilities

• Represent Moog as a recognized technical authority and project leader.
• Guide the evolution of design phases through verification, certification and deployment.
• Serve as a technical reference point for internal and external communications.
• Capture, document, and trace fully verifiable electronics requirements considering schedule and cost.
• Translate systems requirements into electronic hardware specifications.
• Develop Verification and Validation plans for testing electronic designs.
• Perform hardware and software integration testing and investigate performance anomalies.
• Prepare concise reports documenting design decisions and analysis results.
