Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Electrical, to accelerate qualification and production readiness of electrical components across supplier sites in support of defense technology programs.

The role partners with engineering, quality, supply chain and manufacturing teams to optimize tooling, layouts, and processes while ensuring cost, quality and schedule goals are met; travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization in manufacturing.
• Experience with electronics manufacturing, SMT, and GD&T.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
• Eligible for active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical commodities and subcategories to drive supplier production from NPI to full production.
• Champion the commodity strategy with ownership, proactivity, and technical excellence.
• Vet suppliers' capabilities, layouts, facilities, and workforce for inclusion in Approved Supplier List.
• Support PSE, GSS, and SQE to ensure part quality criteria are understood and applied.
• Lead new production tooling and lines at supplier sites to meet performance and quality criteria.
• Plan capacity expansion readiness and ramp-up at supplier.
• Drive SPC reviews and process controls at supplier.
• Identify product and process improvements and optimize factory layout to cut costs and risk.
• Collaborate with SQE on root-cause corrective/preventive actions at supplier.
